Lisa Wall-Urgero, Lyric Soprano
Canadian-born Lisa Wall-Urgero is based in Southern California, where she works as a freelance singer, actress, musician and studio instructor. Her eclectic musical training includes a Bachelor’s Degree in Music from California Lutheran University, nearly 30 years of private study in voice and piano and experiences ranging from opera chorus to background vocals on a Gothic rock album.
Lisa is known as a professional soloist, studio singer, church and temple musician, chorister and accompanist in Los Angeles and Ventura Counties. Her musical theater credits on stage and in the orchestra pit include leading roles in two original musicals.
Her professional experience includes teaching music in schools, directing children and adults in musical theater, choir, handbells, summer music and drama camps, and consulting on contemporary church music programs. In her private studio, Lisa teaches piano, specializing in theory, sightreading and ear training for beginning to early advanced children and adults.
